Once again, ProEx is excited to announce our participation in the 2011 Reach the Beach (RTB) Relay race on Friday, September 16th. RTB is the longest distance running relay race in the United States, covering just over 200 miles and completed within a 24 hour period. Each team is made up of a maximum of 12 members, and each member runs 3 legs of varying lengths and difficulty. The team members rotate in a set order until they complete the race, averaging about 16.5 miles each.
Beautiful Cannon Mountain in Franconia, NH is where it all begins. From there, the picturesque course takes the runners through the White Mountains of New Hampshire where they will have spectacular views of the mountains, lakes and fields until they reach their destination...the Atlantic Ocean! By the time they reach the finish line, at Hampton Beach State Park in Hampton, NH, they will have seen it all as only New England can offer!
ProEx is proud to be a part of such an exciting event as well as one that supports such charity organizations as City Year of New Hampshire, the Hampton Rotary Club, the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC), Cannon Mountain, and Alzheimer's Association Run for the Memory Program 2011.
In addition to being a Bronze Sponsor, ProEx has a running team which consists of 12 members, including 5 ProEx employees: Eric Kopp, Jess McManus, Dan Sieczkiewicz, Dan Thomas, and Brian Wentworth. Join us as we welcome Team ProEx across the finish line on September 17th at Hampton Beach State Park.
