Mike Mulrenan, CEO and President of ProEx Physical Therapy, recently attended the 2010 Annual Conference held for the Private Practice Section of the APTA in Washington, DC. One of the major topics of this year's meeting was Healthcare Reform. Keynote speakers Donna Brazile and Dana Perino (pictured above with Mulrenan) , former Bush administration press secretary and current Fox News contributor, were featured speakers in a debate on the issue of Healthcare Reform. Mulrenan has taken a particular interest in reform and the opportunity the profession of Physical Therapy has to contribute to delivering better healthcare at a lower cost. To learn more about Mike Mulrenan’s perspective, see APTA's Impact Magazine's feature article which came out last April. "What is certainly agreed upon by all political parties is that we have to be creative in establishing ways to reduce the cost of delivering healthcare while preserving quality," comments Mulrenan. "I believe ProEx has an opportunity to step up and be a leader in the area of reform."
