The Somersworth NH ProEx Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine clinic is a 2900 sq ft facility established in 2010. This clinic currently operates with two physical therapists, one exercise technicians and additional support staff. The Somersworth NH location is third clinic opened in the Southern NH Region.

Joe, Co-owner and Regional Clinical Director for ProEx Physical Therapy, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1995 and completed a one year residency program in orthopedic manual therapy. In 2008, Joe became certified by Workwell Occupational Health Systems to focus on the rehabilitation of the industrial work setting through functional capacity evaluations. He specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries and treatment of the spine. Joe has over 14 years of experience working with Olympic, Collegiate and High school athletes in the field of physical therapy, and designing customized fitness programs. Joe completed formal training to become a Certified Pedorthist, specializing in foot and ankle injuries and the utilization of shoe modifications and orthotic management. Joe is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Private Practice, and the Orthopedic Chapters of the APTA. Joe's dedication to the field of physical therapy is exhibited everyday in the knowledge and training he provides to his staff and the personal attention and care he conveys to his patients.
Jon works as the Clinic Manager and as a staff Physical Therapist in Somersworth. Prior to joining ProEx, Jon was a Physical Therapist and Clinical Manager with Achieve Physical Therapy. He received a Bachelor of Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University. Jon is an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist. Originally from Farmington, New Hampshire, Jon now lives in Epping with his wife Monica. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, fishing, biking and camping.
In this role, under the supervision of a physical therapist, Kaitlyn will instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients with their therapeutic exercise programs. Kaitlyn joins ProEx after receiving a degree in Athletic Training from the University of Southern Maine.
Stephanie is a Front Desk Specialist, based in the Somersworth location. Her responsibilities include greeting patients, obtaining authorizations and referrals, overseeing the clinic schedule and handling phone calls. While her base will be in Somersworth, she also performs Front Desk duties at ProEx locations throughout Southern New Hampshire. Prior to joining ProEx, Stephanie was a Radiologist Assistant; previously she was a Transcriptionist at Beverly Hospital. She received an Associate’s degree from Marian Court College and makes her home in Dover, New Hampshire with her husband. The couple has three sons. In her spare time she enjoys boating and activities with her children and granddaughter.
Meaghan Long of Dover, New Hampshire is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. Prior to joining ProEx, Long was a Girls Basketball Coach at Portsmouth Christian Academy. Originally from York, Maine, Long now lives in Dover, New Hampshire.
