The Farmington CT ProEx Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine clinic is a 2800 sq ft facility that was established in 2007. This clinic currently operates with two physical therapists, three exercise technicians and additional support staff.

In addition to treating patients and serving as the Regional Clinical Director of the CT/Western MA region, Eric also serves as the Co-Director of Clinical Education for ProEx. Eric's teaching experience includes an adjunct faculty position at Quinnipiac University teaching in the Advanced Masters program and he maintains an active clinical teaching regimen in topics related to orthopedic manual therapy. Eric's years of clinical and teaching experience makes him a valuable member to the clinical education program.
Kristen, who is licensed to practice in CT and MA, has been a practicing Physical Therapist since 2008. She received both her Physical Therapy degree and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Boston University. In September 2011, Kristen presented “Wheelchair Seating and Mobility to Optimize Function for People with Spinal Cord Injuries” to the Paralyzed Veterans of America at a conference held in Orlando, FL. Kristen lives in her hometown of Hampden, MA. She volunteers with St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in East Longmeadow, MA as co-leader of a high school youth group and in her spare time enjoys running, working out, dancing and dining out.
Lloyd joins us with several years of experience in the health care industry, working as a Rehabilitation Aide for the Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute in Morristown, New Jersey. He also holds a certificate in Computer Network and Security. In his spare time, Lloyd volunteers at food pantry associated with his church to serve others in need. Originally, from St. Thomas, Jamaica, Lloyd now resides in Hartford, CT. His exceptional work ethic and charitable nature make him a superior addition to the ProEx family.
In this role, Kim's wide-range of responsibilities includes assisting staff Physical Therapists with patient care. Kim, who has experience as a Physical Therapist Aide, graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Originally from Winthrop, Maine, Kim presently resides in Farmington where, in her spare time, she likes to run, hike, ski and spend time with family and friends.
Prior to joining ProEx, Stephen was a Marketing Representative; he has also worked in food service at a retirement facility and as a counselor at a children’s camp. Stephen is presently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Movement Science from the University of Vermont. Stephen splits his residency between Farmington, Connecticut and Burlington, Vermont. His volunteer efforts include work with Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports teaching those with disabilities how to ski and with DREAM in Burlington where he mentors children from low income housing communities. In his spare time, Stephen, who is an Eagle Scout, enjoys backpacking, skiing, cycling, collecting vinyls and playing alto saxophone.
Melissa Hussey graduated in 1996 from Philadelphia Biblical University with Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Interdisciplinary of Social Services. Having an uncle, who is a physical therapist, fostered her interest in the PT field. She brings several years of experience in the physical therapy setting, starting off as an aide and then transitioning to the front desk operations. Melissa joined the ProEx team in September of 2008 in the role of Front Desk Specialist. In her spare time she enjoys chasing after all of her son's endeavors.
