Our 10th ProEx Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Clinic, opened in August 2013. It is our second clinic location in Boston MA. It is a 2,400 square foot state of the art facility with magnificent views of Back Bay.

Matt, Co-owner and Regional Clinical Director for ProEx Physical Therapy, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1997 and completed a two-year residency program in manual therapy. He is currently a candidate for full-fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. In 2008, Matt became certified by Workwell Occupational Health Systems to focus on the rehabilitation of the industrial work setting through functional capacity evaluations. He specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries and treatment of the spine. Matt has over 10 years of experience working with Professional, Collegiate and High school athletes in the field of physical therapy, and designing customized fitness programs, which he successfully demonstrated as Program Director of Baystate Sports Training, 2001-2005. While earning his degree, Matt pitched on the Husky baseball team, helping to lead the program to the NCAA Division I Regional baseball tournament his senior year. He then went on to compete professionally for a year in Holland. Matt plays an active role in the community, speaking on topics related to physical therapy and sports conditioning with local business groups and athletic organizations, as well as appearing as a regular guest lecturer at Northeastern University. In addition to his local appearances, Matt is currently a Teaching Assistant for the ProEducation Series at ProEx Physical Therapy, focusing on topics related to Medical Exercise Therapy and Spinal Conditions. Matt is a past member of the Woburn Rotary Club and holds current membership in the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and the Massachusetts Private Practice Special Interest Group of the APTA, of which he sits on the group's Executive Committee. He was also recently appointed co-Chair of the Payment Policy and Practice Committee of the MA APTA. Matt's dedication to the field of physical therapy is exhibited everyday in the knowledge and training he provides to his staff and the personal attention and care he conveys to his patients.
Stephanie received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehab Science and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University. Prior to joining ProEx, Stephanie was a physical therapist with a private practice where she specialized in orthopedics. She has volunteered with For His Children, a physical therapy project performed in Quito, Ecuador . There she provided physical therapy related education to caregivers at an orphanage for children with special needs. Originally from Foxboro, MA, Stephanie now lives in Walpole where, in her spare time, she enjoys attending sports events, in particular Celtics and New England Patriots games.
Mouna works as a staff Physical Therapist, practicing from our Back Bay Boston location. Mouna is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Boston University. Prior to joining ProEx, she was a Staff Physical Therapist with Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, New Hampshire. In 2011, she created a Pro-Bono physical therapy project known as PT for SMA and traveled to Baku, Azerbaijan to deliver therapy and equipment to three young adults with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. In her spare time she enjoys mountain sports, reading and activities with family.
Kelsey will work at ProEx while she pursues her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University. Kelsey is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science; prior to joining ProEx, she was a physical therapy aide with Faulkner Hospital in Boston. Kelsey’s volunteer activities include participation in a health promotion program for Boston youths at the Boston YMCA and leading an exercise program for residents of the Symphony Plaza East Assisted Living Facility in Boston. In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys running, water skiing, cooking and watching movies.
Kimberly is a Co-op at its Boston location in the Financial District. In this role, she will work part time at ProEx as she pursues a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University. Under the supervision of staff members, she performs career relevant functions with progressive responsibilities. Kim was formerly employed with the Department of Community Services in Andover as an Office Assistant.
Hannah works as an Exercise Technician in the Back Bay Boston location. In this role, she instructs, motivates, safeguards and assists patients with their therapeutic exercise programs. Hannah is presently a student at Northeastern University and is pursuing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Originally from North Andover, Hannah enjoys dance, tennis, yoga and traveling in her spare time. She was an active volunteer at last year’s Relay for Life in Boston.
Emily works as a Co-Op in the Back Bay Boston location. In this role, she will work part-time at ProEx while she pursues her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northern University. Emily received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Stonehill College. Prior to entering the DPT program at Northeastern she was the Assistant Evening Director of the Energy Center at the Weymouth Club and the Assistant Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country Coach at Coyle Cassidy High School. In her spare time, she enjoys running and in particular, training for the Boston Marathon.
Mollie is presently a Coop student and Exercise Technician in the Boston Back Bay location. In this role, Mollie, under the supervision of staff members, assists patients with their therapeutic exercise programs. She is attending Northeastern University where she is pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Originally from Walnut Creek, California, Mollie previously worked as a Medical Scribe at California Sports and Orthopedic Clinic. When not attending Northeastern and working at ProEx, she enjoys traveling, volleyball and reading.
Prior to joining ProEx, Shaneka was an Administrative Assistant with Riverside Community Care. She received a Medical Administrative Assistant diploma from Everest Institute. Shaneka makes her home in Mattapan with her husband and their two children. Her volunteer activities include “team mom” for Mattapan Patriots Pop Warner. In her spare time, Shaneka enjoys gardening and participating in family events.
