Laura Berube is the founder and former owner of Legacy Physical Therapy in Amesbury MA.
Laura has 14 years experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of Orthopedic injuries, dysfunction, and post-surgical rehabilitation. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 1997 and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2000, both from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. Laura has had extensive post-graduate training in manual therapy, primarily through courses offered by North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy(NAIOMT). She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Private Practice Section and the Orthopedic Chapter. She has been a clinical instructor mentoring Physical Therapy students from area colleges. Laura believes in providing holistic care to promote health and wellness. In addition to skilled manual therapy techniques, she incorporates medical exercise therapy principles with therapeutic yoga and pilates techniques to enhance recovery. Outside of the clinic, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, or attending yoga and pilates classes. In the winter she tries to keep up with the family on the ski slopes!
Keith attended Wheaton College where he was a 4 year member of the baseball team and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He later earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of New England. Keith, who previously worked as a personal trainer, joined ProEx in 2014 as a clinical student in the Stratham, New Hampshire location before becoming a full time therapist. Originally from Swampscott, Ma and a gradate of the Pingree school, Keith now lives in Marblehead, Ma with his wife Courtney, their two daughters, Haley and Ellie, and their Golden Retriever, Miles. In his spare time he enjoys spending time outside with his family, running, and watching the Bruins, Patriots, and Red Sox.
Prior to joining ProEx, Molly, who received both her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University, was a Physical Therapist with Peak Performance Physical Therapy. Molly lives in her hometown of Beverly and enjoys running, yoga, going to the beach and activities with friends. She is a member of the Greater Beverly YMCA and an active volunteer with the Pete Frates #3 Fund/Strike Out ALS.
Laurie works as an Exercise Technician in the Beverly location. She is a recent graduate of Keene State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Laurie is First Aid and AED certified. Prior to joining ProEx she was a Rehabilitation Intern with Monadnock Community Hospital and a Fitness Trainer with Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services. Laurie lives in her hometown of Medford where in her spare time she enjoys basketball and track.
Katherine works as a Front Desk Specialist in the Beverly location. In this role she oversees the clinic schedule and handles phone calls. Prior to joining ProEx, Katherine was a Neurology Liaison with the Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital. Sheis a self-described animal lover and has been an active volunteer with the Pan-Mass Challenge for many years.
Jack attended Wheaton College where he was a pitcher on the baseball team and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He joined ProEx as an exercise tech in order to gain valuable experience in pursuit of his doctorate in physical therapy. Jack is originally from Virginia, but has grown to fall in love with New England. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his friends, working out, and playing the ukulele.
