Collections Supervisor (Portsmouth, NH)

Collectivity, a full-service billing, collections, and consulting agency for physical therapy practices nationwide, is growing its staff. We have an opportunity for a customer-oriented individual who is committed to meeting or exceeding the company’s standards for DSO, bad debt collection and cash goals. This is a working supervisor position, managing individual accounts as well as supervising a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists. Key responsibilities include the following:

  •  Call on outstanding accounts for collection and recommend action on problem accounts
  • Establish payment plans with patients unable to pay outstanding balance in full
  • Responsible for denial management and resolution
  • Reconcile patient accounts as required and make adjustments as needed for proper billing and collection
  • Research and solve payment discrepancies
  •  Process credit card payments and credits.
  • Organize records pertaining to all cash received and all deposit slip information
  •  Interview, hire, train, manage and develop team of Collection Specialists
  • Facilitate weekly A/R meetings and assists Collection Specialists in prioritizing accounts
  • Provide guidance and answer questions from staff

 Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  •  At least five years’ experience in medical claims and accounts receivable, including at least two years’ lead or supervisory experience
  • Successful track record of bad debt management and lowering days in A/R
  • Exceptional customer service and telephone skills

  • High school diploma

Payment Poster (Portsmouth, NH)

Collectivity, a full-service billing, collections, and consulting agency for physical therapy practices nationwide, is growing its staff. We have an opportunity for a detail-oriented individual committed to meeting Collectivity goals for accuracy and productivity through the following key responsibilities:

  • Download ERA’s daily and post payments into billing software.
  • Post payments daily from checks and credit card payments received.
  • Review ERA’s & EOB’s for proper adjustments and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Reconcile all accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Print, sort and file documents.

Accounts Receivable Specialist (Portsmouth, NH)

Collectivity, a full-service billing, collections, and consulting agency for physical therapy practices nationwide, is growing its staff. We have an opportunity for a detailed-oriented individual who is committed to meeting or exceeding the company’s standards for DSO, bad debt collection, and cash goals through the following key responsibilities:

  • Input all billing into billing software and reconcile for accuracy.
  • Verify transmission of electronic claims with clearinghouse.
  • Correct and resubmit all claims denied by clearinghouse.
  • Download ERA’s daily and post payments into billing software.
  • Post payments daily from checks and credit card payments received.
  • Prepare and mail patient statements.
  • Prepare final notice accounts for collection agency.
  • Call on outstanding accounts for collection and recommend action on problem accounts.
  • Establish payment plans (with approval of the A/R Manager) with patients unable to pay outstanding balance in full.
  • Responsible for denial management and resolution. Communicate to the Accounts Receivable Manager any impediments to collection.
  • Reconcile patient accounts as required and make adjustments as needed for proper billing and collection.
  • Research and solve payment discrepancies.
  • Process credit card payments and credits.

This is a newly-created position and an opportunity to make a difference to a busy leadership team and the patient community they serve. Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Maintain executive calendars.
  • Organize travel arrangements.
  • Provide general administrative assistance for executives, and for other departments as time permits.
  • Answer telephone and greet guests.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including bank deposit.
  • Order all supplies for the corporate office.
  • Coordinate facilities, catering, and other arrangements for meetings and events.
  • Coordinate purchase and maintenance of office equipment and services and negotiates contracts with vendors, including copiers, telephone system, fax machines, and cleaning service.
